Passion, desire and plain feeling are held under a set of prohibitions — family rules, moral inhibitions, social restrictions — none of which permits the thing to be said. The containment worked for years and has reached its limit, which is the point this pattern describes: not the storing but the moment the container starts to give. It began in a family that exploited, shamed and demanded rescue, where a private life had to be kept entirely out of sight. What the shape asks for is one channel opened deliberately, before the pressure chooses its own.

There's a whole life in here that has never been let out, and I've run out of room to keep it.
