Carried: Third Cervical Vertebra (Neck)

Blame is accepted before it is assigned, obligations are taken on past capacity, and the whole arrangement runs on atonement for something never specified. What has been damaged is the internal instrument that would say which of this is actually one's own — so guilt fills the gap, and every decision carries the fear of being the wrong one. The third vertebra sits high in the neck, where the head is carried and turned. It was built by being shamed and accused on one side and depended on and scapegoated on the other. What the shape asks for is one obligation returned to its owner.

Somebody has to be responsible for this, and by the time anyone asks, I've already volunteered.
